Senior Services

Incorporated in 2004, Rye Senior SERVE is a non-profit organization of Rye residents who volunteer to assist Rye’s seniors in a variety of ways.  SERVE’s individual drivers provide transportation for the town’s seniors to necessary medical appointments.  Every Tuesday morning the SERVE van runs a trip to Market Basket Plaza for grocery shopping and errands at Rite-Aid pharmacy, TD Bank and Hallmark Card Shop.   Some seniors also take advantage of the option of breakfast at Hebert’s restaurant.  In addition the SERVE van takes riders on planned outings and monthly luncheons.

Rye Senior SERVE is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that meets monthly.  The SERVE Board of Directors meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm at the Rye Public Library.  The public is invited to attend all meetings.  New volunteers are always welcome.  For more information, please contact the Rye Public Library.
